We fix computers; we don't trade in your data. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website and our repair services, how we use it, and the choices you have, in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.
When you contact us through this website, we collect the details you provide: your name, email address, a description of your device and the message you send. If you phone or email us directly, we collect the contact details and information you choose to share.
When you bring a device in for repair, we may also collect information reasonably necessary to carry out the work, such as your phone number, the device’s details and, where you provide them, login credentials needed to test the repair.
We use your information for one purpose: providing our repair and IT services. That means responding to your enquiry, diagnosing and repairing your device, contacting you about the job, and invoicing.
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
Repairs sometimes require access to a device’s storage. We access only what the repair requires, we never copy or browse personal files beyond what the job needs, and data recovered during a job is handed to you and then removed from our equipment.
Where a repair carries a risk to your data, we tell you before any work begins.
Contact form submissions are delivered to our business email and are not stored in a separate website database. We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access or disclosure, and we keep it only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law.
This website uses a transactional email service to deliver contact form messages to us, and embeds Google Maps on our contact and location pages. Those services may process limited technical data (such as your IP address) under their own privacy policies. This site does not run third-party advertising or sell data to data brokers.
Under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles, you can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we have no legal reason to keep it.
